1. Drop cards or flyers

Drop cards are simply business cards which have a headline on the card along with an URL. Drop flyers are very similar to drop cards, but they are bigger. You can have a headline, then perhaps a paragraph or two where you explain your product or business and on the bottom you put your URL so people can go and learn more about whatever you are promoting.

You can put these cards and flyers on all kind of places like bathrooms, at your work, salons, parties, book clubs, airports, pools, in you neighborhood, coffee shops, playgrounds or any other places you can think of. This is a very affective way to get traffic on the internet.

2. YouTube

You don't have to have your camera and make some foolish commercials. You can do a screen capture (you can get a software to do that, for example camtasia). You can also put up a Power Point presentation or just get creative. You can go to YouTube.com to get more ideas.

These are awesome! You can learn how to do almost anything in there. Everything is explained in steps so it should be easy to follow. But the best part is that anyone can edit the articles, so if you see an article about how to wash your dog for example and you are promoting a dog shampoo, you can edit the article and add a link or a small advertise on the bottom where you can point out your product.

8. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter

You can add a lot of people on these sites, send out messages or bulletin and make ads to send out to people. And remember, people are always logging into their accounts to check out what is going on so there is a big change a lot of people will see your advertise.
